The United States Energy Corporation (USEC) currently operates the PGDP and employs approximately 1,200 workers. The annual payroll for these workers is approximately $121 million. The U.S. Department of Energy also employs several workers at the facility (including various contractors). The number of DOE employees is approximately 900, with an annual payroll of approximately $93 million.
